Dumpster Rental in Marion Oaks, FL
Dumpster Rental in Marion Oaks
Marion Oaks is a large unincorporated community south-west of Ocala, bordered by I-75 on the east and reached from exit 341 (CR 484). Its addresses read Ocala, FL 34473, but it is not part of the city. Since 1994 it has had its own county municipal services taxing unit, which pays for “mowing, street lighting, waterfall maintenance, & pothole repairs” and recreation, and the Marion Oaks Community Center at 294 Marion Oaks Lane also houses the Sheriff’s Marion Oaks District Office.
The Census counted 19,034 people in 2020, and the Census Bureau’s survey estimate for 2020 to 2024 is about 24,000. Almost every home is a single-family house (95 percent), the median was built in 2002, and 57 percent date from 2000 or later, including more than 1,300 built since 2020. So the jobs are move-ins, new-build cleanup, garage cleanouts, landscaping and remodels, usually in a 15 or 20-yard on the driveway, and because Marion Oaks is outside Ocala city limits, household cleanouts are welcome too. The Community Center is about 13 miles south-south-west of our yard, by I-75 to exit 341 or by SR 200.

Marion Oaks is not an incorporated town, so there is no town code here: Marion County and Florida rules apply. We found no Marion County rule or permit published for a container in a county road, so we keep containers off the road, CR 484 and SR 200 included, and set them on your driveway or lot. If you are in a homeowners association, check its rules on driveway containers before delivery day. Addresses here read “Ocala,” but Marion Oaks is outside the city limits, so the City of Ocala’s rule that the City alone collects all solid waste other than construction and demolition debris and recyclables does not apply: we take cleanouts, junk and mixed loads as well as remodeling, roofing, construction and demolition debris. And if a demolition or renovation removes asbestos-containing material above the Asbestos NESHAP thresholds, a Notice of Renovation or Demolition must go to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection at least 10 working days before work starts; Marion County projects go to its Central District office (407-897-4100).
Marion Oaks dumpster rental questions
- Is a permit needed for a dumpster in Marion Oaks?Unincorporated Marion County: we found no County rule or permit published for a container in a county road, so it goes on your driveway or lot, off CR 484 and SR 200. Addresses read Ocala, but this is outside city limits, so cleanouts and mixed loads are welcome here.
- How far ahead should I book in Marion Oaks?A day ahead is safest; an early call often gets a same-day drop. The Community Center is about 13 miles south-south-west of our yard, by I-75 to exit 341 or by SR 200.
- My address says Ocala. Which rules apply?County rules. Marion Oaks addresses read Ocala, FL 34473, but the community is unincorporated Marion County, outside city limits. So the City’s collection rule does not apply and we take cleanouts and mixed loads here, and the container goes on your driveway or lot.
- What size dumpster for a move-in or new-build cleanup?A 15-yard for most move-ins, a 20-yard if you are also clearing a garage or landscaping. On a new build, show us where the driveway is poured and firm. See our sizes page or call and we will size it with you.
